blog 55

Today was an odd day. I am sitting in Hitchcock waiting for my 5:30pm math exam and I’m really nervous. I just came from the math tutor where I did the practice midterm in one hour and feel like I learned more in there than I have in class in 4 weeks. I’m definitely going to go there more often when I have the time. I did a complicated chemistry lab this morning and everyone was freaking out because they kept messing it up and having to start over. I think I did pretty well but I won’t know until I get it back I suppose. Anyway after that I attempted to get from Celeste laboratory to Caldwell and found out that I had to walk completely out of the way to escape the bomb threat. At first I was pretty pissed that this was gunna make me late for math recitation (in which I desperately needed the review) but then I got my hopes up about my exam getting cancelled. I didn’t really get to study this weekend because my car and phone broke simultaneously and I also had to work. On my way to English I grabbed a drink and a little cup of scalding hot soup (why is it that hot? I have no idea). I sat down and tried to balance my laptop, a heavy book, and the soup. Not my brightest idea. The soup (ofcourse) spilled all over my pants and boots, not only creating big embarrassing wet spots but also burning me ridiculously. I sat there and burned in silence hoping that no one would notice, then quietly went to the bathroom and got paper towels. I have burns on my legs. Jesus that soup was hot.

  1. I hate having chem lab in the morning too, like you're barely awake but you seriously have to focus so much!
