blog 53

Well I’m proud of myself. I wrote an entire essay in a couple weeks that I thought was really good but it didn’t fit the Common Place standards, and I had to start over from scratch. My previous paper was more of an analytical research paper. So I took the more, ethos, pathos and logos route and wrote a more persuasive paper. I mean, the paper does need to have a message, right. Well the message in my new paper is really clear and appeals to all three of those listed above. I think my thesis is clear too. The only problem is my paragraphs are a little lengthy, but I think that all of the information was needed. So now I am actually finished with a completely different paper and it’s on time. I’m sooo happy I got it done and don’t feel like complete crap about it. Hopefully my grade on it corresponds. I’m sitting on the little benches on the second floor of Evans lab. It’s always really nice and quiet up here and there’s a big window to look out of. It’s really peaceful. I certainly don’t enjoy the cold of the winter but I do love how white and clean everything looks under a powdery blanket of snow. I don’t get to schedule my winter quarter classes until Monday because I didn’t sign up for any of the honors programs like I should have. I have my entire schedule planned out but I don’t think the classes will be available anymore by the time I get to them L.

  1. I sign up Monday too. I keep checking the catalog everyday hoping they are still open, so far so good. I just hope by my time they are still there! There was a lab with lots of room at 7:30 on Friday mornings! I don't think so!

  2. I have to change the majority of my paper too. I haven't started yet. Yikes! Good job on finishing your paper though! I'm hoping mine doesn't turn out like poop.
