blog 42

Blogging can get so irritating, but at least we can blog about anything this week. I still have no idea what I’m doing with this Common Place paper. I honestly have not started it. I have so many ideas’, but I don’t really know if the format I’m thinking of is what she wants. Are we supposed to write it like those stories we read in class? If so I have to find a way to make this paper appealing and convincing. I don’t really want to do a topic too closely related to my last paper, although it does have to relate somehow. I wonder what topic is farthest away but still relative…I sent my professor and my TA an email about how the post lab information on the online input is messed up and will mess up results (I have to finish it today), but neither has responded. Am I just supposed to not do it? I wish people would actually look at the work they give us instead of pulling it from nowhere and using an answer key to grade without truly caring about what is actually going on. Oh well, you can’t change the world. I should really start my Common Place paper tonight. I think I’m going to try and stay up to finish it. I already have so much homework for math and science. That song “I hate college” is playing over and over in my head because it describes my mood perfectly right now.

  1. Haha, I love Sam Adam's music. I'm also in the same place you are for the common place paper. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to write it, or what the draft is supposed to include. Hopefully we'll get more information on it on Thursday during class.

  2. Does anyone know how we are supposed to give her the draft? Do we email it to her as an attachment or take her a hard copy? I have something written, and I like my subject enough to really want to play with it (I wish I had more time for that this week!) but I really am glad it is just a draft! There is a lot of gray area here I think!

  3. Well I managed to write something, not sure if she's going to like it. We have to hand in a hard copy in class, no online submission yet. Thank God it's just a draft!
