Chemistry lab was a tiny bit terrifying this morning. Our TA has us working with skin burning chemicals and she doesn’t really fully grasp the concept of time management. She had us finishing one lab while doing another, and not only that, it was supposed to be a makeup day. So now anyone that was making things up is two labs behind. She didn’t know what the labs were even about, and our row pretty much just asked each other if we had any questions about what to do since she was being useless. Anyway, at least 20 of us ended up having to stay after class, which made quite a few of us late to our next class. So now I’m finally home and sitting here trying to figure out the answers to my stack of chemistry quizzes, data entries, labs, and problem sets. Oh the joys of school. I think I’m hungry but I honestly can’t tell because I’m too focused on homework. MTV made is on in the background, talking about some sixteen year old squeaky girl who wants to be a body builder. I think being super in shape would be awesome….but I don’t have time for that. Typical fat kid response except its true. If I could be made, I would ask them to make me into something useful, like a successful business woman or a genius…then I could make lots of money! Speaking of which I’m all out until next Thursday when I get paid. Sad day.

  1. HAHA I have MTV on in the background as well! But yeah I took Chem 121 during the winter last year and it was honestly the worst class ever. I really liked my lab TA but the labs were so ridiculous (time wise and what they contained) that it wasn't really enjoyable to complete the labs.

  2. That class sounds really hard, good luck on the homework.

  3. Well, I had the same experience yesterday and I ended up eating Spaghettios at 10:00. Satisfying at the time, but think I will go for something a little more healthy tonight! I agree with the working out thing. Sometimes I am just too mentally exhausted to think about it. My friend says that working out would help with that, but I am not buying it.

  4. I heard that working out will help build mental endurance too. But my mental exhaustion will not let me believe that, because im too tired to, so I won't.
